With 18 years experience representing public construction owners on transactional, law compliance and dispute prevention/mitigation matters, Rich Cardwell has become a leader in his legal representation of over one hundred Ohio political subdivisions, including school districts, counties, municipalities, townships and libraries, involved in major construction projects totaling over three billion dollars in construction value. Mr. Cardwell is now positioned to leverage his experience, reputation and relationships for the collaborative benefit of public, non-profit and private construction owners and their architects and contractors nationally as a Construction Owner Resources, LLC (COR) Consultant.
In particular, Mr. Cardwell is well suited to provide collaborative COR Consulting Services to private, non-profit and public construction owners and their architects, contractors, legal advisors, risk managers, associations, interest groups and lobbyists, both generally and on specific projects, with historic changes in the technology, economics, business models and the delivery of construction projects that are now occurring, especially as related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the new IPD and IPD Contracts and underlying Lean Construction principals that will markedly improve the cost, quality, time and risk of construction projects for owners.
